COMMISSION STYLIST POSITION

COMMISSION STYLIST

If you have 1 or more years in salon experience, are hard working, motivated and feel like you’re not growing or progressing in your career, we encourage you to apply. We build our Stylists quickly, and give you all of the tools you need to succeed as a hairdresser in the Treasure Valley. Must be coachable, comfortable with social media, work well in a fast paced environment.

While commission is a very important part of the equation, it's not the only thing that provides a great paycheck, and we're here to teach you about it. We offer some of the most competitive commission rates in the valley. 
  • You have control- We do have a very structured program, and some things are required by the salon, but you choose your schedule, you choose your price points, and you choose which services you want to focus on. Saturdays are mandatory while building, but you do have the opportunity to advance to not working Saturdays.
  • New Stylist Training: All new Stylists go through our in depth training so that you can do your job well, and with a thorough understanding of our Systems and processes.
  • Keep your clients: We believe that Stylist and Salon Owner work together as a team. While the salon may bring you a client, it is up to you to retain them with your skill, personality, and quality of service. Therefore we do not gate keep clients from you, you have access to your clientele at all times and are free to take them with you, should you choose to leave Maven Loft Salon.

SALON ASSISTANT POSITION

SALON ASSISTANT

If you are a newly licensed Stylist with an Idaho Cosmetology license looking to start your career, we invite you to apply. Our Assistant program provides in depth training in all aspects of the Salon. Be on the floor in 3-6 months with confidence. Must be coachable, comfortable with social media, work well in a fast paced environment.

Starting Pay: $12/hour
Part Time: 20-25 Hours per week

We are seeking a front desk coordinator for our growing team. Ideal candidate would be someone who has experience in social media, customer service, and front desk operations for a busy salon. Strong organizational and sales skills are required. Must be outgoing, friendly and able to give our clients an exceptional experience. Pay is DOE.
